Frugal Quilting Basics

Homespun Flying Geese Quilt

Flying Geese Quilt using Homespun Fabric

Here is a flying geese quilt that uses homespun fabric in the rows between the flying geese. Homespun fabric add two things to a quilt.  Homespun fabric adds a look of comfort to a quilt and it gives it a more vintage feeling.  Notice in the quilt how the geese travel in opposite directions in each row.  Flying geese quilts are very frugal, and a great way to make use of leftover fabric.
