Rag quilts are great for the beginning quilter.
They are easy to make. There is a lot
of room for error on these quilts, as your seams don't show after you fray the
fabric. As you can see from the above pictures, these
quilts are made from simple squares. Some of the squares are fussy cut to
give a novelty theme to the project. The top row has a quilt made with
alternating squares from two fabrics. Rag quilts make great pillows for children's rooms. They
are a great frugal way to use up small pieces of leftover fabric.
